Pearson defines the official seven-trait Write Email rubric. Lengqishui uses related learning evidence to help with revision but does not reproduce Pearson’s private scoring engine.

What does the PTE Core AI writing feedback check?
The current writing checker supports text responses for Write Email (WE), Summarize Written Text (SWT) and Summarize Spoken Text (SST). Review the saved response, word count, Form, completed grammar checks and available Content feedback. WE and SST include a Spelling trait; SWT does not score Spelling separately. Estimates, ranges and language issues depend on the completed analysis and are practice evidence, not official results.

Pearson scores Write Email Content and Form before the remaining traits. Start with task relevance, required details and the live response-length instruction, then examine organization, vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, capitalization and spelling.
Use inline grammar and spelling feedback in context
Lengqishui can highlight supported language issues inside the saved response and show an explanation for review. Automated suggestions can be incomplete or mistaken, so reread the full sentence and accept only changes that preserve the intended meaning.
Why are some writing traits marked pending or unavailable?
Pending means a trait is not yet supported, unavailable means this attempt has no completed result, and not applicable means it is not scored for this attempt, including when a Form gate stops further checks. Vocabulary is currently pending for WE, SWT and SST; Email Conventions and Organization are also pending for WE. Content feedback requires the task’s content information and completed analysis. Expand the full trait list in a compact report to inspect unscored traits instead of treating missing evidence as a score.
Build a repeatable PTE Core writing revision loop
Write under realistic conditions, review Content and Form first, correct one recurring problem class, and compare later attempts. This produces a clearer practice goal than rewriting the entire response or chasing one unusually high estimate.
