Official PTE Core AI Practice is free to start
Pearson currently advertises official questions, instant score estimates and feedback aligned to official scoring traits, an AI Tutor and progress tracking. Across its plans it lists more than 300 questions, five full-length mock tests and four sectional tests.
The free AI Practice access is useful for diagnosis
Pearson currently says free access includes one Speaking and Writing diagnostic, one Reading and Listening diagnostic and several Reading and Listening questions. Paid plans unlock more practice content, mocks, sectional tests and AI Tutor access.
AI Practice and the Scored Practice Test are not the same product
AI Practice supports flexible question, sectional and mock practice with instant estimates and feedback. The single-use Scored Practice Test is an approximately two-hour readiness check using the official scoring engine and producing a complete Score Report.
The Question Bank is official practice content, not a scored mock
Pearson describes around 300 PTE Core questions across all task types, with answers, explanations and sample speaking and writing responses. The Question Bank itself is not a scored test.
Use a layered preparation workflow
Start with Smart Prep orientation, use Official AI Practice and Lengqishui for targeted improvement, protect one-time mock attempts, then use the Scored Practice Test near test day and return to focused practice based on the weaknesses revealed.
Official status and score boundaries
Smart Prep, Official PTE Core AI Practice, the Question Bank and Scored Practice Test are Pearson products. Lengqishui is an independent free project, does not reproduce paid Pearson content and provides third-party learning feedback rather than official Pearson scores.
