How long do PTE Core results take
Pearson currently says most PTE Core results arrive within two business days, but processing can take up to five business days. Pearson emails the test taker when the Score Report is ready.
Where to view PTE Core results
Sign in to myPTE, open My Activity and select View Score for the relevant attempt. The report shows the overall score and separate speaking, listening, reading and writing scores on the 10 to 90 scale.
PTE Core score validity for Express Entry
Pearson states that the Score Report is valid for two years from the test date. IRCC requires Express Entry language results to be less than two years old when the profile is completed and when the permanent-residence application is submitted.
How to send a PTE Core score to IRCC
Pearson says the unique Score Report Code on the PTE Core Score Report enables IRCC to verify the result securely. Enter the requested code and individual skill scores exactly as shown on the relevant official report.
PTE Core results delayed beyond five business days
Check spam or junk email and My Activity in myPTE. If more than five working days have passed without a result or Pearson update, contact Pearson Customer Support; some reports take longer for additional certainty or security review.
When can you retake PTE Core
Pearson currently permits another booking once the score from the previous attempt has been received. The next date can be in the same month, subject to test-centre availability and the current retake limit.
For Canadian immigration, review speaking, listening, reading and writing separately. Pearson states that IRCC does not require the overall score for CLB conversion.
